CHRONOTOPE Art Thesis Exhibition
25 Feb - 8 Mar 2026
This exhibition features the photographic works of 18 students from the Department of Photography and Media Arts, College of Design, Rangsit University. Each artist brings a distinct working style, narrative method, and visual language, spanning diverse content, perspectives, and creative processes. These varied works reflect each artist's unique perception of the world, yet they remain intertwined through the exhibition's core conceptual framework.
In this collection, the concept of "Chronotope" serves as a lens to explore the inseparable relationship between Space and Time. The spaces captured in these images are not merely backdrops for events; they are "space-time" entities that hold memories, experiences, and overlapping traces of life. These photographs do not simply record a fleeting moment of the present; instead, they reveal the coexistence of the past, the present, and the yet-to-be.
By applying the Chronotope concept, this exhibition moves beyond questioning "what appears in the image" to considering the existence of time within space and the existence of space within memory. Consequently, these photographic works become emotional space-time vessels that connect the lives, memories, and perceptions of these 18 emerging artists with the audience in an open and continuous dialogue.
