To ensure that people of all ages and genders can have the best experience at ICONSIAM, the building has been designed to meet the demands of every age group-- especially the elderly group. ICONSIAM has prepared comprehensive facilities to ensure convenience for senior visitors, starting from the parking lot, to toilets and wheelchair stations at various points as listed below.
All Priority Parking have a noticeable large sign, as well as a blue floor for you to spot it easier.
After you’ve parked your car, if you are in need of a wheelchair for your seniors, you can simply inform the nearest security staff you see. ICONSIAM has prepared countless wheelchairs at many points to guarantee service for all needs.
On the 2nd floor the Information Counter is situated between ICONSIAM and Siam Takashimaya. On the 6th floor, the counter in front of the Yayoi restaurant also provides wheelchairs for the eldery as well.
Wash basins have also been tightly attached in order to support the weight of elders who may get uncomfortable with standing and accidentally fall or lean into the basins. Most importantly, ICONSIAM has chosen to use basins that don’t take up space under the basin and have a curved side in front in order to ensure accessibility for elders on wheelchairs.
No toilet for the elderly is complete without an emergency button. ICONSIAM has installed it in an area that is easy to use, which is right next to the toilet. If elders need help, they can press the button to get help from people outside immediately.
ICONSIAM has prepared toilets for the elderly on every floor from B1-6 floor in Lobby A, C and D.

Parking spaces for the elderly
For those who are driving to ICONSIAM and would like to park at the special parking spot for the elderly, look out for our Priority Parking. Look for these spaces by looking for the following columns...
On B2 the spot is in Lobby A Column U5 – U6, Lobby B Column M5 – M6 and Lobby D Column U12 – U13. On B1 there are another 12 Priority Parking spots at Lobby A Column U4 – U5, Lobby B Column J6 – J8 and Lobby D Column U11 – U12.
As for the M, 1, 2, และ 3 floors, find the Priority Parking in the area of Lobby C Column E1.
Wheelchair service for the elderly
Besides the elderly wheelchairs at the parking lot areas, wheelchairs can also be found at the Information Counters within ICONSIAM. On G floor, the counter is located in front of the Bally store (ICONLUXE zone) by entrance 3 and at SOOKSIAM. On M floor and 1st floor, find the counter in front of the ZARA store.
Toilets for the eldery
Toilets are an essential necessity for everyone. The ones designed for ICONSIAM take senior citizens into account and ensure safety, convenience and ease for use. Railings have been installed to help seniors walk and to offer support while they position themselves getting up or down. The toilet bowls have also been selected in order to support the anatomy and have a similar height to wheelchairs in order to offer utmost convenience to seniors.
